Recipe Hunt!

At Semsom, every year, you have the opportunity to become the chef and have your recipe offered at our restaurants under your name through our Recipe Hunt Campaign.

Through the Recipe Hunt Campaign, food lovers have the chance to participate in our menu by submitting a traditional recipe from their villages, or by sharing the recipe of a new Lebanese dish they excel in producing.

The First Edition of a nation-wide Recipe Hunt Campaign was launched in winter 2010-2011.

450 participants submitted their recipes in the various SEMSOM branches with only 10 making it to the final selection. Their names, as well as the winning dishes, are now featured in our new menu along with the story of each dish.

Some winning dishes from 2010-2011 Recipe Hunt:

Wadad's Cheese and Basterma Rolls: Wadad's favorite recipe. Quick and easy to cook; she makes it regularly.

Jospeh's Chocolate Semsmiyeh: Joseph created this recipe using an ingredient that matches the restaurant, Semsom!

Siham's Msakhan: Siham, a new bride, made this dish for her husband for the first time from her grandmother's recipe.

Nour's Chocodelice: Nour proposed this delicacy because chocolate is her favourite ingredient.

The Second Edition of the Recipe Hunt Campaign will be launched in winter 2011-2012
